Doctoral Study Procedure
- Doctoral study procedure after successful admission to study:
- Preparation and approval of individual study plans in FBERG union commissions.
- Register for the professional foreign language exam at the Department for SRA and FR and education in III. degree of study at FBERG. The professional foreign language exam for doctoral students is implemented and secured through FBERG.
- Progressive exams in professional subjects.
- Submitting the application form for the dissertation exam and written preparation for the dissertation exam to the Department for SRA and FR and education in III. degree of study. The condition for applying for the dissertation exam is the successful completion of the language exam, placement exams in professional subjects and at least 10 credits for the doctoral student's publication activity.
- Approval of the opponent and the examination committee of the dissertation examination in the FBERG union committees.
- Dissertation exam, exams in professional subjects and defense of written preparation for the dissertation exam.
- Submission of the application for the defense of the dissertation and the dissertation itself to the Department for SRA and FR and education in III. degree of study. The condition of the application for the defense of the dissertation is the successful completion of the dissertation exam and at least 60 credits for the publication activity of the doctoral student.
- Approval of opponents and the examination committee for the defense of the dissertation in the FBERG union committees.
- Defense of the dissertation.
