On July 28, 2025, the Senate of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, based in Salzburg, elected Prof. Ing. Ivo Petráš, DrSc., from FBERG TUKE, as a full member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in the field of Class VI – Technical and Environmental Sciences.
The European Academy of Sciences and Arts (https://euro-acad.eu) was founded in 1990 and counts among its members 28 Nobel Prize laureates. The formal certificate of admission will be presented to him at the annual ceremonial assembly of the Academy, which will take place on March 6–7, 2026, at the Academy's headquarters in Salzburg, Austria.
